How many teams may each school send?
Schools may send one team of up to three students and a coach/chaperone. The host school from the year before may send up to two teams of three students and a coach/chaperone.
Size of tournament
Typically this tournament has been well subscribed and we regret that registration will need to be limited to 160 competitors. Preference will be given to existing League member schools that have regularly participated in recent years. Each year there are usually a few spaces for new schools but this year we are limited the tournament to only existing members or schools who have competed recently.
Registration 2020
There is a two-part registration process. In spring, schools will be invited to initially register interest in participating. Shortly thereafter the host school will confirm participation and request registration fee. Once fees are paid, schools are welcome to register their students and identify speaking categories. This part of the process will go live in the spring and close in late September.
Registration fee
North American Schools - $250
International Schools - $150
These costs include the IISPSL levy which pays for the running of the IISPSL board functioning as well as the 2021 chaperone to Worlds.
